When I receive a call from a customer, I know they are either a referral from a satisfied customer or someone who has already received a window bid from another Company that is “out of this world in price” and are seeking a second bid to compare with the expensive bid. I will then set an appointment which is convenient to the customer and promise the customer that I will be no longer than 30 minutes at their home.
Often the customer sends a rough measurement of their windows and I can work up a bid based on the sizes provided. When I come out to their home I will measure windows and answer any questions the customer may have. I will offer any suggestions that may fit my customers needs and call or email my customer the next day with a fair price.
